■ In-Scope LED offers adjustable brightness levels and projects a measurement bar scale that represents a subtended horizontal angle. ■ Tilt sensor measures vertical angles, which the RD1000 uses to determine the slope- reduced measured distance and to calculate height. ■ Attachable Magnifier can be used in situations that require maximum measurement resolution. ■ Ergonomically designed for handheld use, rugged, water and dust resistant, and is compact to carry in your pocket. ■ Can be mounted on a tripod or monopod for increased precision. ■ Works saemlessly with an LTI laser rangefinder and an external data collector. |
| Measurement Types The RD1000 offers 5 types of measurements. BAF: Visually estimate if trees fall "In" or "Out"of a given plot as related to the specified Basal AreaFactor. In / Out: Use the internally stored plot radius factors todetermine the status of a 2 borderline" trees. Diameter: Determine the diameter of a tree at any given height. Result mey be downloaded to the external data collectors. Height / Diameter: Verify the height at which a specified daiameter is reached. Result may be downloaded to an external data collector. Raw Inclination: Diplayed as Percent Slope. Result may be daownloaded to an external data collector. |
